I was well chuffed when I opened the curtains at half seven this morning. I realise it's not quite what you are seeing in the USA, but for a coastal Southern city, this is a great start!!

Sadly, although my car was covered in snow as well, it had melted up and down the street. Only little pockets of it left in sheltered places like my roof terrace.
